On the way home from knit-dinner, I heard the most awesome song. Thanks to The Buzz's online playlist, I was able to find out that the song in question was Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots Pt. 1, by The Flaming Lips.
Erin was considering buying the album for me within a minute of hearing the song on The Flaming Lips's site.
Rock, rock on. -

Presented a paper.

This week, I finished initial knitting work on my Thermos bandolier.
I have graduated to the realm of the Real Knitter.
And so has Pete.
I've still got to sew in the permanent zipper (basted in a temporary one--_purple_raven_'s mom has been kind enough to find a metal one for me) and knit up some pouches for tea tins, ID, pens and notepad...everything I might ( Read more... ) -
