The Teastick
Gizmodo provided me with a link to a new tea toy this morning.
It's expensive (for a single-cup strainer), looks difficult to clean, and probably doesn't allow water to flow as freely around leaves as other solutions (thinking more along the lines of Bodum Yo-Yo than a standard tea ball) might.
( But it's pretty and I want it. ) -
Today's Tea: Tropical Ireland
Teas:
4 tsp Irish Breakfast (Peet's)
2 tsp Rooibos Tropica (Teavana)
Temperature: High boil
Steep duration: 4:00 (though maybe a little longer--I forgot to set the timer)
Water Quantity: 32oz
Verdict: Excellent
This one is a lot like my previous "Irish Garden Brunch" blend, but not quite as floral. I think the Tropica compliments a malty ( Read more... ) -
