For a moment I worried that you've read/watched Twilight.
I'm ready to call the men in white coats now.

Neither read nor watched. There is actually a slight chance I might catch one of the movies if someone is evil for Bad Movie Night but no force on earth could make me read the books.

Amen to that.

stareyednight and I saw the first movie on cheap-ass Tuesday (aka: half-price movie night) just so we could MST3K it to death. T'was a good time, and also gave us plenty of in-jokes for future use ("this is the [insert noun here] of a killer, Bella!").

Can we please have the Monday morning head-screwing stories back? Always a good way to kick things off...

You can't make me think about Twilight! You can't!

All shitty stories will also get told. Crap does float (unless it's got corn chunks), and thusly do crappy stories float along until it finds the right writer with the right connections to flush it into the great mainstream sewage.

Ten, twenty, thirty years from now, people will say, "Twilight? You mean that crappy sparkly vampire thing?" -- if they remember it at all. Meanwhile, Billy Shakes and true greats will remain. Take heart.
