First off - very cute icon photo!

Second, I want you to read my friend Diane's farewell article, especially about the part where you can't expect anyone else to make you happy, you have to find it within. I know it's easy to say, harder to do, but I think it's worth saying right now.

I think we, as stay at home moms, find ourselves so focused on our family and kids that everything else seems to fade away. Suddenly we find that our life seems to lack personal substance. It's absolutely where I am right now, and I wonder if your desire for a man is stemming from that as well.

I read your friend Diane's article. It's sad and I agree with everything she said.

I agree that being a SAHM gets lonely. I don't NEED a man girl, it's having them around that begs me to wonder whether it's really in my and my girls' best interest.

It's almost like since my dad has ALWAYS hurt me I'm senstive to other men...men I care about doing the same.
