I wanted some good quality caps of that scene from The Fix, but had to wait until I laid hands on an external DVD drive to replace the broken one in my laptop. I may have gone a little crazy, so under the cut is not at all friendly to dial up users.

Oh my goodness, what a treasure trove to find, today or any day. :-)

These scenes are iconic - for their beauty, power, expression of love between the boys, pain and perseverence...and more.

Like so many people, this episode was one of the 1st I saw from the programme, and seeing their love for one another resonated so deeply, I just feel headfirst into S&H fandom-ness.

I am always taken with how these tough guy cops share this wellspring of affection and caring - how they shut out the world when personal danger strikes, and rely on each other.

I also love love Huggy in these scenes, what a supportive friend.

Thank you for the beautiful caps and the narration behind it.

I didn't see this ep until a fair way along in my fannish 'career', and yes, it just expresses so many lovely things. :0)

Lovely screen caps! I will never forget the first time this ep aired. I was sewing a top to wear to work the next day, but forgot all about that as I began watching this ep. I ended up on the floor in front of the tv set! This was first run, btw, and there were no such things as vcrs to record it with, and I wasn't in fandom yet so there was nobody to squee over it with then but of course I've made up for it since then, lol. Oh, and my top never got finished that night, either.

Great to see this after seeing PMG in person yesterday, too! Thanks for sharing.
