Another really interesting part. I especially appreciate how you're showing grief as an ever-changing thing, where one step forward can mean two steps (or more) back. Poor Sean. ...And I'm fascinated to find out exactly how Viggo's involved with the manor!

All will become clear *g* I thought it would be interesting to explore grief more thoroughly, and you're right, it is ever changing and often quite surprising.

I love the slow pace of this. Sean has a long way to go and I also love Viggo's gentleness and his sure instinct in dealing with Sean and his grief.

Thank you for this wonderful story. I love the description of the stages of grief, Sean's reluctant hope and the despair when he get's overwhelmed by his emotions. And Viggo's calm and accepting ways...
I'm looking forward to the next part.
