You know it's time to begin socialising again when...

You rock up at your usual social outing, just to say hi, and only two people bother to acknowledge you.

I think it's time I start actually trying to make friends again, I'd be surprised if anyone even remembered me anymore.

I've had that happen to me too. I try not to let it bother me anymore. I'm just so quiet and invisible that people often have a hard time remembering if I was there or not. :P

Perhaps, but I'm not one to be quiet. Or at least not often. Mind you a few years ago I was like that, perhaps I'm falling back into it again, though that's not really a good thing.

I saw you come in, thought you had sat down next to bingo and co and then when I looked around you'd gone!
I mean if youd gone around the table and told people you'd just dropped by to say hello and werent staying then maybe youd have got more responses

Mmm perhaps. But I still get that feeling often. After all, I generally sit on the outside of the group because only a few people talk to me.

I'm not too sure what I want to do, but I originally joined the group because it was energetic and welcoming, and lately it's felt more depressed and standoffish. I don't know if it's myself or not but it's just beginning to effect me.
