The latest step in my bid to take over the world is a success! S passed the Foreign Service Oral Assessment today

This is wonderful news! Actually, you might find her security clearance goes pretty fast. They do preliminary work on spouses as part of the officer's clearance (you know, because if you were married to a terrorist, that would be bad). Mine went at lightning speed (2.5 months back when they were taking MUCH longer) and the DS folks said it was because they had gotten a head start on me.

I hope her process doesn't go TOO quickly. I want to be her partner in crime for park duties this summer.
