Desperately seeking

Addison-area sit-down restaurant with a decent hot vegetarian selection - ie, not salad. Vietnamese would be great! Any cuisine that is (obviously) not standard meat-and-potatoes.

Ideas for tonight, please? Entertaining a visiting vegetarian friend.

Flavors is really good, too. Unfortunately, one member of our party loves all food except indian. =)

Dream Cafe is OK, has a number of vegetarian items. Also Blue Mesa Grill has a delicious veggie plate that I love and get every time I go there. And there's a tapas place in the same center that is pretty good, too.

There's a Que Hong and a new fast food-ish Middle-Eastern joint on Beltline, in the shopping center with Benedicts. I cannot vouch for quality. There is Gloria's in that shopping center with Bed Bath and Beyond and De Tapas, which is on the Flying Sacuer side.

If they don't mind seeing meat you could always go to the Mongolian Grill. You pick all your own ingredients so you know exactly what you're getting and then they cook it up for you.
