 Seriously, I want to learn me some Polish and go there. It seems like I'm just surrounded by Polish lately. There's a Polish-speaking community in the area here and, since all Poles are Catholic, I run into the mysterious sounds of that language fairly often. Polish food is good.

Pierogi (a type of dumplings) is delicious.

However, if you travel in the Balkan region, and happen to stop by Romania, definitely try some Romanian food. Though I may have a slight bias as I'm Romanian, I think Romanian food is better than Polish.

By the way, I was curious to know your ethnicity?

I would love to go to Romania. Romanian is such a lovely language, and it doesn't seem like it would require the glossal fortitude that Polish might.

Pirogies were probably my first exposure to something Polish. It was love at first bite.

My Dad's family is Mexican-American and my mom's Ukrainian/German.
