This song is so damn beautiful...it captures the very essence of the movie. It moved me so much, I literally cried. Though the tears were not in vain. Anyone else see this movie Das Parfum?

Ah, Perfume! I was not very impressed with the movie, but only because the novel on which it is based is one of my favorite books of all time. If you liked the movie, you must read the book, it's 10 times better! :)

Really? I'll have to read on that then..but the song..is AMAZING!! The music is what gave it's feel to this movie I believe for you cannot "smell" it obviously :P

I was somewhat confused at the end when he put on the perfume and everyone went nuts. I'm thinking pheremones?

Yup, you're right. :) But everything is SO MUCH BETTER explained in the book.

And I agree on music, it really is beautiful.

gorgeous. Do you know the name of the song?

I'm glad to hear people calling it "Perfume." I was trying to figure out how they got "Meeting Laura" from "Perfume: Story of a Murder". Although it did give me a spark of hope regarding the employability of liberal arts majors.

I've been researching the song for two days, and cannot seem to find the actual name of the song, ^_~) It's driving me insane!! The only thing I've heard it called is "Meeting Laura" which is funny because he doesn't actually *meet* her.
