I, of course, support the writers. It's their creative energy and ideas that are behind the shows we love, and they are being underappreciated and underpaid for far too long.

I have to admit that my motives are not completely altruistic, though, since I plan to live from my writing some day, and I'd like to see that my ambitions will be worth the trouble, so to say. Writers, in general, are too underpaid and I'd love to see that change.

I agree! It's awful they had to come to this just to get noticed. Writers are for the most part not only underpaid, but also not acknowledged enough. Many times, dumbasses like Leno, get the credit for being "witty" when they really are not his original lines, lol.

Hopefully this will be resolved soon! I mean come on...what's 4 cents more right? The IRA should not get getting so much profit. Evil, evil organizations I say, Evil!!

Plus I know how you will be without Prison Break :P

Bastards! Of course the writers deserve more credit, but 4 cents? Both sides are being silly at this point. The entire industry will be lucky if people keep watching after this. I'm glad I have very few shows that I am obsessed with.

It's true both sides are being weird about it. I had thought the same thing you know, as for it will be lucky if people get back into these primetime shows. Nightime tv will be very dull, lol. Good thing I watch mostly History, DIscovery...even then there are a lot of re runs. I will miss the good shows. I think the writers should get more than 8 cents. After all it is their creation. Me being an artist can understand and yet, grr I want my shows back!!

I am totally with the writers on this one, although I will miss my shows if the strike goes on long enough. Luckily, I have enough DVDs and VCR movies & series to keep me entertained should I be left with nothing to watch.

Go writers!

I think so too, it's no wonder they are pissed off. People make the common misconception writers make tons of money, it's usually the people whp duplicate or use the scripts that benifit most from the sales. It's a huge thing. I just hope it gets resolved soon! >.
