HELP!! My contact lens got stuck behind my eye!!

I'm totally freaking out my contact lens is behind my eye. Well not behind obviously, but its stuck up in my eye lid, I don't even feel it. But I know its there, the stupid thing folded and fucking got stuck. I am SO freaking out. Has this happened to anyone before? I'm NOT going to the hospital where they will probably stick a needle in my eye, I'

Why would they stink a needle in your eye? Do you have saline in a bottle? I would lift up your eyelid and spray some saline in there and see if you can dislodge it.

First - calm down. This happens from time to time to anyone who wears contact lenses.

Go into the bathroom and pull up your eyelid and see if you can see it folded in half. Whichever corner of your eye it's closer to, gently rub your eyelid and try to push it closer to the corner. If your eye feels dry, use some drops or saline first so theirs less friction and/or irritation. If your eye gets too irritated while you're trying to get the lens out, take a break and try again. It will come out with some patience and perseverance. *hugs*

It's still in there =( I think...I cant even feel it. I'm so worried about HOW they will remove it. I can leave it in for 12 hours. But after that I do risk infection. So I'm quite bothered..I tried laying down and flooding saline in. Keeping the eye closed pulling the lid down, had someone look and they cannot even SEE the lens. I know its there cause it folded up and disappeared in my eye. Grr. It makes me leary to ever wear the stupid things again honestly.

It's entirely possible that it fell out and you didn't realize it. Does your eye doctor have Saturday hours? If so, he or she can take a look and let you know.
