Rainy Days and Mondays.

 It was the first day back at work for me.  It's just an hour a day for a week to finish up an accelerated summer class but still.  I'll get about 10 days off after that and will begin regular classes on the 16th.

Deedles is in town.  We had arranged to meet for a coffee today.  It never rains in Athens in the summer.  Never.  As odds would have it

I got the feeling she thought we were just blowing her off. I/We weren't really interested in getting completely drenched - umbrella or not, just getting to the train. :(

Had we not been here it certainly would have. We're in the bad habit of leaving the (balcony - not entry) doors open if we're not going to be gone for long. Even had we shut the doors it'd have flooded.

I hope she doesn't think we're idgits. :/
