Aid for tsunami victims
You've heard a zillion pleas for help by now; skip with impunity. This has to do with stuff more than $.
This is a friend-of-a-friend thing. I have a very close friend whom I've known since 5th grade. I would trust her with my life. Her husband, who is also a really good guy, worked with someone who was originally from Sri Lanka. They vouch for him. He is going to Sri Lanka soon and is taking a great big container full of stuff to distribute at temples and refugee camps. He understands The System there and thinks he'll have success.
He's already gotten a lot of things like clothing; there are some medical supplies that he still needs. His web page has a list of goods that he needs, in case you have some of this lying around that you can spare.
