stollman and I found a great Mediterranean restaurant in San Mateo last night.

That must be because I was too busy eating it to talk about it... the lamb kavurma was absolutely marvelous.

Oh, thanks for the recommendation. I'm generally on the lookout for good Mediterranean places since my favorite out here for it is all the way down in Santa Cruz...

There's another pretty good little joint in Palo Alto. I don't remember the name, or where it's located precisely...but it's on the street that you take to get to La Dolce Vida coffee shop, off El Camino, and it's a couple of doors down from Joannie's Cafe. I had a deelish gyro with avacado there, sitting at a table on the sidewalk with all the cheerful Palo Alto lunch crowd rushing to and fro.

Gah, I didn't pay attention. I don't think they had a large selection, though. I'd recommend calling: 650-348-3060
