stollman had some lamb; I'm not sure if he liked it,
That must be because I was too busy eating it to talk about it... the lamb kavurma was absolutely marvelous.

The extremely flat bread sounds like paratha.

Oh, thanks for the recommendation. I'm generally on the lookout for good Mediterranean places since my favorite out here for it is all the way down in Santa Cruz...

There's another pretty good little joint in Palo Alto. I don't remember the name, or where it's located precisely...but it's on the street that you take to get to La Dolce Vida coffee shop, off El Camino, and it's a couple of doors down from Joannie's Cafe. I had a deelish gyro with avacado there, sitting at a table on the sidewalk with all the cheerful Palo Alto lunch crowd rushing to and fro.

That sounds like one to take note of. Did they have a decent selection of vegetarian items?
