So I'm behind everybody else; I don't care, I wrote about 1200 words tonight whilst sick and sleepy. So there.

This was pretty cool. I was watching Will and Grace, and Jack said the following:

Woot! 640 words. I am a little over 1% done with my novel.

Look out, contestants. I'm a-blazin' a trail.

(Okay, so it's a snail trail, but it's all silvery and sparkly in the moonlight so I don't care.)

Yeah, I might do it. Maybe.

At least I'm all signed up for it, so there will be ignorable public embarassment if I don't.

Right now I have the leaf blower outside and the vacuum cleaner out in the hall. At least they are in the same key.

I did it. I stood eye-to-eye with my Singer sewing machine, and my eye won.
