Today in Guild Wars 2...
Cessball and I did three things: Explore the Norn hometown area, completed today's permutation of the Wintersday Dungeon that's hopping between towns, and murdered enough undead to match up with... pretty much the entire population of the planet. I took some pictures!
Some giant ice statues, which are awesome.
A giant regular statue, which is also awesome.
The last one needs a little explanation... but only a little. We were on part of Annie's personal quest and due to an imminent huge attack of the undead, someone needed to use a idol of the human God of War to gain power. Her character volunteered, turning from a standard plant-y girl to... well:
That. And yes, my character came up to about knee height on her even from a distance. ...she also proceeded to die horribly since she's not used to playing a warrior type character. Luckily I was there to run in circles like a huge coward while slowly killing things save the day in a totally awesome and not at all ridiculous manner.
We then went on to another area and were just constantly being attacked by undead until we got so sick of it that we fled back to Lion's Arch and logged off for the night. Luckily we finished our daily achievements before we quit, so all is well. I'm level 57, almost 58 now. 80 is pretty fast approaching.
