I recall hearing one lady being interviewed about the gas prices. "Gas or groceries." VERY sad when it comes to that point.

Actually I read a letter to the editor last summer here in Dallas where the woman was saying "electricty or food" The prices for utlities really jumped here too.

And the other day in an elevator one of the women in there with me was saying she just spent $60 to fill up her car. And here I was bitching about the $33 I spent on 13 gallons

Gas prices here the last I looked was $3.20 or so a gallon in Seattle that is, a lil' cheaper out in the outlying areas but still expensive.

I know not everyone will have access to a decent mass transit system like some of us but still, if one can, that'll help tremenously, also, keeping the tank topped off and never let it get to near empty will help too I'm sure.

Funny thing is I went from a gas sipping aging, falling apart Accord to a well maintained, but not so good gas mileaged truck, am I complaining? No. :-)

The last time I looked, gas in Canada is at 96.6 cents a litre. That is 83 cents US. There are 3.79 litres to a gallon so that makes it. $3.15. WOW, it;s high up here too if you look at it that way. Damn, I thought we were doing so much better.

Well where I live is a bit more rural so not as pricy as 15 miles away in Dallas itself.
