So it's Tuesday night. Tomorrow I go to the dentist for basically an all day appointment. Without going into details, suffice it to say I hope to be walking out of there with LOTS of painkillers onboard....and a giant Pez dispenser filled with more at the ready ( Read more... )

The garage sale as we knew it is long gone. Now people just want to rip you off by either paying pennies or just flat stealing stuff while you are being distracted dealing with another customer. It is sad and it sucks. Years ago, we had a garage sale at my mom's house and we discovered at the end of the day that people had just stolen what they wanted if we weren't willing to come down to the ridiculously low price they offered to pay. And some of the thefts were 'big ticket' items like a speed bike. I was so disheartened and disgusted by the behavior of those people that I vowed never to have another garage sale. What a shame that a few can ruin any experience for the rest of us.
