Attention Irondale Residents

This was in the crime reports in the newspaper today.  Mapquest showed it as just near Elder Street.

"Larry Terrell, 26, of Birmingham told police three males "rushed" him and took his money Sunday at 7:30 p.m. in the 4900 block of Scenic View Drive. "

Know that this is a rare occurrance.
Aside from my break-in ... in the 5 yrs. that I've been in Irondale - you rarely hear about anything happening.

Please don't let this deter you from looking/moving Hood-ward!

Re: How I'm feeling -
I'm able to work - although I'm seated ALL DAY LONG cause it hurts to stand, walk, or sit anywhere but on the floor.
I'm usually at home on the floor with a heating pad on my leg and an ice pack on my back.
Then I alternate.
But - I'm working on staying happy and positive.
Luckily - I've got such great,loving people around me ... they won't let me get too far down!!!!

I want your doctor's info.
I apparently should get the opinion of a neurologist.
Or at least, another orthopedist.
I just want someone to relieve this pain PERMANENTLY!
ya know!

well i am glad to hear that you are plugging along, but i definitely agree with your decision to get a 2nd opinion. the doctor who did my spinal surgery was Dr. H. It's because the news man has moved away from that block. 4913 Scenic. The sharpsburg folks have alot to do with the trash and crime in that little stretch.
