I wish I could've tape recorded the conversation I had with my students today. We held a mock election in our classroom yesterday for the school 1-8 grades. We discussed our school election and then the results of the REAL election.
Many children said they were happy Obama won, but felt sorry for McCain because he worked so hard.
Or some who weren't Obama supporters said they were happy for the people who wanted Obama to win, they were glad those people were happy!

I TEACH 1-3 GRADES by the way!
Amazing how many people have witnessed this wonderful day!
