I don't like Obama. Rather, I don't think he has enough experience to be elected right now....2012 would be better. This next president is going to have to deal with a lot of tough issues (I really think Iran and NK are going to start "acting up" so to speak), plus they have to clean up the Bush administration's mess (especially our economy). Which is why I'm voting for Clinton. I think its nice he had all this foresight on Iraq, but he lacks the expertise.

However, I really hope the divide between Obama and Clinton does not cause someone like Edwards to rise to the top... Call me a pessimist, but sometimes I feel like, when it comes down to it, alot of people aren't going to be willing to vote for a black man or a woman.

I just wish there were more libertarians out there. Hah.

i understand the point that he hasn't had a lot of experience, but he is such an intelligent person that i think that he would succeed anyway. i wouldn't write him off for the next election -- there is something to be said for not having been in the system for too long... unlike clinton, obama has a soul, for one thing. i think that he would be extremely refreshing, and i have faith that he could skillfully tackle the mess that he'd have to deal with.

but i think you may be right, that the country isn't ready to vote a black man or a woman into office, which is why, realistically, i think he might be a stronger candidate in 2012. i really hope that if he doesn't get the candidacy/presidency this time around, he'll try again later. i think that clinton is a bad choice, honestly, not only because i don't really like her, but also because she's such an extremely devisive figure, and we really don't need that now.
