Thanks to itssarahyo's poll "What song(s) do you want to be played at your funeral?" I realized that "November" by Azure Ray would be a cool soundtrack to my funeral...it's sad but dreamy, melancholic but hopeful, just like a funeral...and the lyrics match too I think.

thats awesome... the italian online journal. oh! i also forgot to explain the "indianapolis italian festival" to you...

basically, the one, lone catholic church in the city with masses spoken in italian only has a street festival every year, with tons of food, dancing, singing, etc. considering i'm italian (father is from sicily), its one of the highlights of the summer for me.

good luck with the news from U of FL!! you'll have an awesome time there :)

Keep your fingers crossed about U of FL! :)

That is the perfect rainy day alone song. But I think personally, I'd rather have happy music at my funeral.

Thanks for sharing your opinion!

I wouldn't want something happy at my funeral, since I'd hope it was a sad moment...but there's always hope behind sorrow, and I think that's what that song brings about.

It's Cat Stevens and I really don't like Cat Stevens but this song has cool lyrics:
"Miles from nowhere
not a soul in sight
oh yeah, but it's alright
Lord my body has been a good friend
but I won't need it
when I reach the end."
