just how much I hate trying to get a decent internet connection in Europe?  It never fails.  I write a long post to LJ or a long e-mail and it gets eaten by cyberspace.  If I write the same long post or e-mail into Word and cut/paste it in, it goes through without a hitch.  The darned electrons KNOW when I don't have a back up copy of stuff, I ( Read more... )

I'm confused... What does "WAAAAAY too many books" mean?

lol - yes, well, in AJ's case it means that we need to make space for the next level of reading material. Once he learns to read and can figure out where the heck to keep them all he can have as many books as he would like. Don't get me wrong - I'm thrilled that he likes books as much as he does. I just don't need to trip over all of that love every time I walk into his room!

Me too. (My personal theory is that there's no such thing as too many books. Too little space, on the other hand....)

He'll also be getting a slightly larger room in the new house if the current floor plan flys with the architect. And we'll all have more bookshelves!!! I've planned to have bookshelves in my sewing/multi-purpose craft room which should leave more room else where in the house for yet more books :-)

I will be doing my own major book purge before we move - mostly historical romances and the like. If there is anyone who would like dibs on mind-candy type books let me know. Sorry, all of the research books are going with us!
