Hey kiddos...those who are planning to be in Galveston Island for nuptuals the 3rd weekend in October --- I'd really like to find someone to split a room with. Corey has to go to another wedding in Rhode Island that weekend (we tried to both go to both weddings but the flights out on Sunday can't get us to Providence on time for #2 and Corey's old ( Read more... )

hey there -- i got your message -- i think most out of towners are arriving Friday. There are a couple Rudes getting in Thursday PM. For those arriving Friday, I believe they are coming in around 2/3PM. I would suggest, if at all possible to fly into Houston Hobby. We can arrange for pick-up at the airport. I just don't want you to have to go all the way across the city on a Friday afternoon in rush hour traffic -- which is what is going to happen for those flying into IAH.

wow, that many people are coming up early? I wish we could but Natalie and I really can't take off any more work and the earliest we'd get there would've been Friday around 11 PM :(

And Sara, my friend Jeff is going solo and I'm not sure what his sleeping arrangements are yet, but he's a good guy. i forwarded this on to him..

I can help with the hotel room, but not the airport if you are flying into Hobby. I arrive at Bush at 2:46 PM Friday afternoon, grab the rental, and do the drive. I am the Holiday Inn on Friday and Saturday night, and I have to catch a flight at 12:50 PM Sunday back at Bush. If you fly into Hobby late Friday night, then I can probably pick you up at the airport. Sunday morning drop-off would be very very early, though.

And a happy "yea!" for vegetarian-friendly buffets!

If you really wouldn't mind splitting a room that would be awesome!!! I hear the Holiday Inn is right next door, so that's great. As for rides, it looks like Ty can arrange rides for me to/from Hobby, so I'm not too worried about that, but again thank you so very much for the ride offers. If you're really cool with the room, let me know how much splitting would be (and if you want me to call about getting double beds so you don't have to be put on hold at the hotel on my account:-).
