1. My brother (15) has been reading a lot of Victorian Horror lately--Lovecraft, Bram Stoker, Robert W. Chambers. I got a copy of Victorian Trading Co's catalog in the mail, and found him browsing through it over dinner.

So, what would your profession be? And what should I make my brother? (Preferably something Lovecraftian)

The only reason I'd want a brother is in hope he'd turn out like yours. :D

And now I want calling cards too! Think how handy they'd be! Carry a handful around with you wherever you go, never have to scribble your phone number on someone's arm ever again, meet a future lover - slip your card into their pocket while they aren't looking!

The possibilities are endless.

my brother was explaining to me the other day that roasted chestnuts were very disappointing when he was in Spain. Apparently acorns are better raw and he assures me that he has the experience to back this up. So I asked him why in the world he would ever eat an acorn and he told me he wanted to see what the squirrels were so excited about. He is 31 this year-once a cute brother/always a cute brother.
