Well it starts off a bit X-Filesy, whereby they're exploring unexplained phenomena through crack-a-lack stuff known as 'fringe science'. Then there's a whole bigger story unveiled that deals with reanimating corpses, funky physics tricks and parallel universes.
In the midst of all this is the most kickass Olivia Dunham, who is hot and emotionally... something. She's the FBI agent caught up in it all, and then there's (crazy) Walter who is also the most brilliant scientist, plus his son/wrangler Peter who is Pacey Witter all grown up.
I can't do it justice without spoiling - but you know all those shows with the brooding but brilliant male lead? Fringe does that with a chick. Awesome.
