Write a letter to someone. It can either be the intended recipient who responds, or someone else who has intercepted it.

Dear Doctor Mum Dad Tony Jake Will Whoever Finds This,

If you’re reading this, I’m dead.

--Ha! Just kidding. Fooled you, didn’t I? Chances are, I’m still very alive and well, even if I am in hospital because I did something stupid like jump off of a building because the thing I was flying and I forgot that I couldn’t.

Before you ask, no, I didn’t really forget. I’m not that thick. It was more like….a temporary lapse in judgment. In any case, I got out with a broken leg and wrist, and a concussion. So it wasn’t too bad. That’s definitely not the worst thing I’ve jumped off of.
Whoever you are, please never jump off of the Golden Gate bridge. It’s just painful. But if you really have to, make sure there are no boats around.

Right. I’m getting off topic. Hello, my name is Rose Tyler. Yes, that Rose Tyler. The one who went skydiving and Yeti hunting with the King of Tibet.
In case you’re wondering, we did find the Yeti. His name is Steve, and he has a fondness for Rocky Road ice cream. If you’re ever visiting him, tell him I say hello. And make sure you have Rocky Road handy, because trust me, it’s hard for him to chase off someone carrying that stuff. He rarely gets it. But I’m getting off topic again. It’s very nice to meet you, and now, after we have the introductions out of the way, I need you to do me a favor.

Yes, I know it’s not polite to ask a favor as soon as you meet a person, but if you do this for me, you may very well be saving the world. The favor? In the envelope, there’s a paperclip, a bit of string, and a red button.

--no, I don’t want you to press the red button. If you do, you’ve blown up the planet. Please be careful with it. I actually want you to tie it to the envelope with the bit of string (there should be a hook on it somewhere that you can stick the paperclip on, then tie the string to the paperclip. It’ll make things easier, I promise), then chuck it into the Thames on the left side of Tower Bridge.

Make sure it’s off of the left side of Tower Bridge. Not the right, and not some other bridge you come across. Oh, make sure you’re standing about midway across the bridge, as well. That’s important. I’d tell you why, but then I’d have to kill you, and I actually rather like you.

Once you’ve done this for me, go buy yourself an ice cream or chips. For a job well done. I’ll even stuff ten quid in the envelope, too, so it’s on me. Don’t forget this, because it’s always important to give yourself a treat after you’ve saved the world. I usually go for chips and a milkshake. Strawberry. It’s delicious. Enjoy! And thanks again for saving the world.

Lots of love,
Rose Tyler

P.S. I’m sorry the envelope hit you on the head. And if it didn’t, well…ignore this bit.
