OK, I realize that this is something most people have done far more frequently than I. I've driven everything from a Renault to a Lincoln , but most of them were like the Dart, one step, and a short one at that, from the junkyard. The "Civil People" found it a week or so later, in the parking lot of the Muckleshoot Bingo Parlor.

Since I've never been there, and have no plans to ever go there, we think they were looking for something they could sell. Good luck on a somewhat battered O2 tank that was probable out of gas within 24 hours. Apparently they jimmied the lock.

With Sharra, I'm very careful to go to such places only when necessary and early in the day when there are likely to be better parking places and we have better locks, too!

You may want to invest in The Club. When I lived in a big city, I had one of those. It won't stop someone from breaking your windows, but at least your car will be there when you get back.
