I plan to quit my job tomorrow.

No, I don't have another one lined up. Yes, I will give them two weeks' notice. No, this is not the best choice. It is the choice I feel is available.

Thank you all for the support, well wishes, and tookies.

Facebook is limited, and I have no access from the office computer. Most of the people who read my Facebook can read this. This seems like the better, and only, option to respond to some things.

I ran into bosyn at Starbucks this morning. He gave me the same advice a lot of you have...don't quit without something else. It's good advice. I don't feel I have a choice ( ... )

I vote for option 2. Sometimes, you have to look out for you.

Quit, take the time to decompress. Look around. Who knows, something great may be just waiting for you.

I told my supervisor that my resignation date is December 31st, but for me to last that long I need the vacation time. I told him I was ready to give my notice today and be gone by the 19th. He said he would make some calls and try to work out some down time for me.

I have to quit to make him see the light?

Ah well...here's to a new year and a new direction for my life.

Sanity is the most important thing you have, protect it and keep it well. I think of you often... I still have the mug I was supposed to give you two years ago! It's in my hallway by the front door, waiting to be united with it's rightful owner!! Big Hugs, hope to see ya soon, ~Tracy Friend :)

Will you be out with the McBubbas this weekend? I haven't seen you in a social capacity in too long. I'm hoping I can make arrangements to camp this weekend, and spend some low pressure time with old friends.

Yes and you did better than I did. I got tired of all the blaming and being the target of all (ALL) the problems in the office and just tearfully walked out, handing the boss my timesheet and telling her "sorry I can't do better" and Boom, I was Gone...you did MUCH better!
