Ok. I've finished my final presentation for one class, and I've finished taking the final exam for my other class. I still have to finish the final paper for the first class, which is mostly filling in details at this point and then smoothing it out, and then I'm done with my classwork for the year. Oh, that little thing. No problem! ;-) Well, having just finally finished my proposal (and yes, they did in fact sign off on it), I can vouch that it is definitely a nice feeling to have somebody agree that your stuff is worth doing in some sense.
Thanks for coming to my talk, by the way! It was nice to have friendly faces in the audience. Not that my committee was particularly unfriendly, but they had a role to play.
