Oh my God!

What is it about these atheists? Do they just want to take us all down with them? Okay, I know, I've heard it before: There are happy atheists, optimisitc atheists, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera, I KNOW.

Most people who claim to be Wiccan or Pagan suffer the same general malaise of rebellion out of idiocy as well. People seldom realize that it's dangerous to grasp at the tools of religion without a firm purpose and knowledge.

Ah, quite so.

As much respect as I have for serious religious people (like Don Juan of the Yaqui Indians, or saints like Francis or John of the Cross), I admit that I am a "spiritual dolt." That is, though I have faith in the metaphysical, my scientific brain forces me to see things in a Western, materialistic framework. I am just open-minded enough to know that the other world exists, but I'm far too childish to actually dabble in it myself. Hell... I don't even like to use Ouija boards.
