Well I have been introduced to Drabbles by Marina aka blackcurrants and Helen aka oxfordgirl. Drabbles are extremely short works of fiction of exactly 100 words (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drabble) and here is my first attempt at one ( Read more... )

There was once a man who ate shellfish. Any kind of shellfish. He loved them all.

But one day he ran out. The shops had run out and even the girl on the beach was sold out. His only option was to swim out to sea and get them himself.

Suddenly he got caught in a storm. Huge waves crashed on his head but he continued to search.

A shark swam beneath and came up to bite. Kicking it on the nose he continued to search.

Finally he found some, clutched them to his sides and swam back to shore.
