It took mearly a few descriptors for my mother to pick up on what just was wrong with him.
I had a childhood friend who had the same problem, a complete lack of knowing the feeling, and the meaning, of respect.
My childhood friend, Greg, ugh. He was, to put it plainly, a bastard child. He was HELL FIRE for my mothers friend.
Believe it or not, there are just some children out there that no amount of parenting, therapy, or medication can help. Greg is one of those, and from what we can tell, Robert was as well.
I am not excusing his actions. But it strikes a chord with me when someone goes out of their way to dehumanize someone. Granted, the choices he made were stupid as fuck, but believe you me, that kid probably was out of control his entire life. And its probablly why his family kicked him out.
