Disclaimers and Thoughts

1. I'm a straight guy, in a stable marriage. I really don't have a dog in this fight, except as it pertains to the well being of my friends.

It would interesting to see some of the enlightened states pass laws that they will not recognize marriages from states that don't recognize theirs in return. So a het couple from NC (no SS marriage) moves to, say, Maryland (SS marriage allowed) and poof, they're not considered to be married. And since the Feds still go by what a state says....

This could be an interesting rathole.

You know my thoughts on this. The truth of the matter is, that it takes statements like his and people like you to change the way our country sees gay marriage. People in power speaking out, and people like you showing the love and care for their fellow man with no concern for their sexual orientation.
