I've tried this with pumpkin and added a can of corn. Made it way bland, so used 1 TBSP chili powder and a dusting of cayenne. 1 can of beef. Joe suggests celery seed instead of celery and to add dill to give it the sharp top note it lacks.

I put in the slightest pinch of dill weed, less than 1/8 tsp, and I think that did the trick. Whoda thunk?
