So this morning I was awoken to the sounds of gunshots. Granted, I didn't know they were gunshots at the time, I thought it was just a car backfiring because I heard a car drive away directly afterward. My sleep-addled brain explained to me as I laid there that cars usually do not rapidly backfire 12 times in a row, though
