Luceti
character:
markofthewiseseries: Avatar: The Last Airbender
tagging priority: ■■■■□: The bodyswap has slowed him down a bit sometimes, because the extra journal switching annoys fme. Go figure.
muse strength: ■■■■■: Nope. Not a problem at all.
cast strength: ■■■■□: Pretty good overall? It's not perfect, though. The only problem is that I'm worried things are kind of getting stale with the cast. Maybe that's just me, though. The draft kind of didn't end up very strong on cast-centric stuff.
plotting capabilities: ■■■■□: It's nice actually having Sokka in a plot that centers around him (and Haruhi) instead of latching onto something else. So that's pretty cool.
general fun level: ■■■■■: Very fun and I'm loving this whole switch thing. I'm not sure everyone else is into it as much, but hey, I'm having fun.
likelihood of drop: □□□□□: 8|
I'm starting to be comfortable with his icons. Some of them I still want to edit, but eventually I'll be happy!
Playing as Haruhi is interesting. She seems to have lost a lot of CR (or they are on hiatus), so I've been kind of jealous of Sokka's real CR. I'm also kind of slow at just variety tagging.
character: onebluebamf
series: X-Men Evolution
tagging priority: ■■■■□: When he doesn't have a lot, he's one of my first to hit up. But it's easy to get worn down when he has a lot of tags to keep up on.
muse strength: ■■■■□: Still kinda feeling shaky since last time, but a little better? A little canon review did help, at least. And new icons are always good for pumping things up.
cast strength: ■■■■■: Really no complaints to speak of? They're all great and out there, doing their thing. They feel dynamic because all of them are out there forging their own CR and making connections.
plotting capabilities: ■■■□□: Still not so great with plots. Teleporting often is a very easy fix for a lot of problems. I think he's also just inclined to not get involved in heavy stuff.
general fun level: ■■■□□: Still hard for making posts (I don't know why), but fun overall. This has improved lately, I think. Building stronger CR connections has helped, I think.
likelihood of drop: □□□□□: Not a chance
I'm anticipating bring back Kurt in about a week or so. I need to redo his icons and I'd like to have Ling already intro'd by then.
He has ship potential coming up and I sort of think that once he gets over his new changes, he might just find a girlfriend. This will mean less teasing, which will be a shift for his CR.
Charles and Erik are making a strong showing and I think they have a good chance of sticking around. So there could be future potential of stuff about Mystique and Azazel coming up.
character: originaljackass
series: Fables
tagging priority: ■■■■□: He's slipped a bit lately.
muse strength: ■■■■□: Pretty high, though his character is forever hard to peg down. It's also kind of hard because he's kind of on this journey to being less self-centered and that means playing a nicer Jack. That can be hard.
cast strength: □□□□□: N/A :(
plotting capabilities: ■■■■□: He's probably still my easiest to get involved in plots.
general fun level: ■■■□□: Plenty of fun, but admittedly the fact I don't think he'll ever be in a serious ship is kind of a downer.
likelihood of drop: ■■□□□: I won't lie, it's crossed my mind since Rose left. But lone canon warriors tend to be kind of, "Oh they would be easy to drop" in my head. I worry he may be heading into the same territory that Goroh did, where his doucheness is wearing off.
Since I don't think Jack will ever get permanent castmates, I'm really tempted to go ahead with giving him a PB. Josh Holloway really is the perfect face for him and I think he would work that much better if he actually looked like the good looking asshole he actually is. My problem is that his art style does not make him (or any Fables guy) look very attractive, even though they are supposed to be very highly idealized specimens of humanity. I don't think his icons convey that, so he doesn't ge perceived the way he should. Some opinions on that would be welcome.
In regards to the Goroh comment, I worry that I might reach the point where he stops being a jerk. That's part of what killed Goroh, so I'm being wary about making those mistakes again.
character: gerudoking
series: Legend of Zelda
tagging priority: ■■■■□: Pretty high, though mostly because he's not in a lot of threads.
muse strength: ■■■■□: Very, very strong. I've been doing other writing for him on the side. I never do that. Never.
cast strength: ■■■■□: Pretty good? But he doesn't interact with them much. I'm hoping for him to speak more with Midna, because I think she's someone he could come to respect, once he gets to know her better.
plotting capabilities: ■■■■□: He's in one plot now, which is pretty cool. I've been holding back, though. I need to start having him do more.
general fun level: ■■■□□: He's a lot of fun, but his only problem is that he's not much of a conversationalist and generally looking for an exit. I keep hoping people will be annoying (to him, not me) and keep things going, but most people tend to just let him go off on his own.
likelihood of drop: ■□□□□: I have a good feeling about him. But we'll see how that goes.
I need to find ways to get him more involved. I'd also like for him to collect minions. Anyone who worked for him would be able to get powers from him and become reasonably powerful in their own right. Given Zant had next to no power when Ganon recruited him, there's really a lot of potential in becoming one of his minions.
character: notourhero
series: Batman films (Nolanverse)
tagging priority: □□□□□: N/A
muse strength: ■■□□□: Soooo unsure
cast strength: □□□□□: There is none. But of the DC people, what we do have is cool?
plotting capabilities: ■■■□□: It's Batman. I don't think this will be a problem.
general fun level: ■■■□□: Bruce Wayne seemed like a lot of fun on D_M. No clue about Batman.
likelihood of drop: ■■■□□: I'm honestly waffling on even intro-ing him at all. I just have so much uncertainty and wonder if I should just stick with Ling. If I do intro him, it'll be definitely a trial run.
I might be better off just bailing out before I take the plunge. He's already actually in Luceti - he saved this one girl's life. Right now he's in the background gathering info. I'd hate to disappoint people, but I think not disappointing people is all I have going for him right now.
character: itsaxingthing
series: Fullmetal Alchemist
tagging priority: □□□□□: Not intro'd, but it used to be pretty high
muse strength: ■■■■□: Very high. Ling comes very naturally and easily to me.
cast strength: ■■■■■: No real complaints here! Although he doesn't really have much to do with the Hughes family.
plotting capabilities: ■■■□□: Ling was generally pretty easy to get involved.
general fun level: ■■■■□: Ling is a LOT of fun, period. He has a lot of fun stuff to play with. Though I think one downside to his canon point is he'll be less of a flirt.
likelihood of drop: ■□□□□: I think Ling will be good. I can't really predict these things well, but I think I'm over the reasons I dropped him to begin with.
Just waiting for him to be accepted! I think he has potential for development now. Greed won't be cutting off any 'tender moments', he won't be determined to find the Philosopher's Stone (he may even have it in Luceti), and he'll be sort of enjoying the 'vacation' before he has to go and become Emperor.
Not going to lie, Kurt's potential to be a ship is part of what makes Ling appealing. I also like having a young teenager again, since Sokka isn't that far from being 18. I'm tempted to say he's 15, rather than 16, but I figure that's just a technicality at this point.
For the sake of being distinct from Sokka and Kurt, I am sort of banking on him being the one I throw at RP kids, like Tales characters and stuff. He really is the kind of guy who can get along well with anyone.
OVERALL? I compared this to my last State of the Muses and I am such a ridiculous flake.
NO APPING PLANS!!! Seriously. I don't want them. (Although rewatching Community may make me reconsider Troy... or possibly Jeff. Doh.)
RP Drive has been up and down lately. I'm not sure what the reason is, but I think I've been too deep in backtag land lately. I don't tag as fast as I used to.
