Actually, I haven't read very much of that list. I should warn you now about Margery Kemp though, I HATED that book and wanted to set it on fire. It is her biography or whatever, right?

Really? My friend who lent it to me loves it... You know how I feel about Medieval Lit...I want to set most of it on fire.

I remember reading Dubliners in high school. I disliked it intensely. At least it is short (actually a collection of short stories, I believe) and comprehensible. Anabel Lee is in the 7th grade literature book that we use, so shouldn't be too taxing. Wasteland is as depressing as the title. I read the Scarlet Letter, Huck Finn, and Pride and Prejudice a loooooong time ago. I see you scheduled the Awakening after Heart of Darkness; sounds logical. Good luck! (By the way, I didn't want to be an anonymous lurker anymore so I opened a livejournal account.)

Yeah, so far I have disliked everything Joyce wrote...just too depressing for me. Adam loves all those depressing poems like the Wasteland...I should chat with him about it. I am planning on reading some of the Poe stories at Halloween as part of a scary story telling...should be fun :-)
