Good band :) Have you seen them? I didn't know who they were but my friend Mariela drug me to a show at Neumoes about 5 weeks ago. I was highly impressed.

Ah yes, dragged. I'm only drugged once in a blue moon (4 months+) and I'm working towards even more rarely :) Well... there's caffeine... but that's a seasonal addiction. We live in gray-ville after-all.

Sorry to hear that you don't get out. Is that because of lack of people to go out with, your living situation, or other factors that you've posted about? Hopefully you know that I've always thought you were a great person to go bar hoppin' with. If you need a show buddy, I'm almost a perminant volunteer.

Anyhow, yeah... the Metric show was cool. Like I said, I didn't know who they were at all... but I was really impressed and have been hounding Mariela for a copy of the cd.

And you missed Freezepop, too. :(

well, there's a couple things...

-Living far and not having a car is one of them.
-not having money is second (i just started working again)

but mainly other things to focus on....

I started going to bars when i was 13... i've lost my fascination with them.

the only time i wanna come out is when there's someone i want to see playing... but even that's been rare... heh!

LoL. 13!?!? :) Bars are dull indeed. I can appreciate having other things to do. I just get bored and there's too many w/in walking distance. I still love shows, though :) My interests are diverse enough that there's almost always a show for me to see. This week is Le Tigre :)
