Not sure if this is the place to post the answer,

Me

I am some guy that got sick and tired of not knowing anybody in perth that had similar interests to myself and decided I would get off my ass and find people that might become friends over time.

So I found a community and then followed the links till i found people (that lived in perth) that seemed interesting and who had similar outlooks or interests.

what are you talking about??!! yesterday was bliss! i love that weather! bring it on, horrible climate change :P

seeing as im not all that informed on the environmental angle of this issue i was going to bring up what iv learnt in politics about your point on population control, but it looks like julian beat me to it *shakes fist*! however, the main reason why people have so many children in developing countries isnt so much the actual love of children, but they desperately need the labour, and for someone to look after them when theyre old..oh wait, that sounds like something we did in anthrop. oh god, its still with me *hides*

point is, labor will win the next election because if you look at history, labor has always been elected/in power when some shitty disaster thingm occurred. goooooooooo labor!!!!

I was always under the impression that the reason developng countries have such a high birth rate was because they have such amazingly short life expectancies.

As such they need to ensure that they have someone around if they (the parents make it to be old) that can feed them in there old age.

I think the life expectancy is about 38 yrs

yeah, i know they have short life expectancies. thought it would be apparent that i meant relatively old. 38 is old for them. children are aid, and theres basically nil birth control/education.
