As I said to someone else, I think you're confusing eccentricity and silliness with immaturity. Immaturity would involve blatantly declaring my opinions as "correct" and offering no explanation as to why I feel that way other than, "it just is!" and things of that nature.
Boring? Thanks! :D I pride myself on it, actually.

It shows chosen ignorance of the world around you.

Ignorance of the world around me? I hardly think my disinterest in obscure figures like Karl Rove (whom no one I know has ever heard of, including my parents, who follow politics) affects all areas of my life. Do I know about all the dealings my country has with others? No. Do I care? Not really.

I agree with the lasses that posted above me. You're wildly immature for an 18 year old. And both rogue_explorer and I are under 18, so that's pretty horrid if we find you immature. I was still kind of "eh" but the whole not into politics (you're old enough to vote, there's no excuse) and the overuse of "lol" sent me down the road to no

Cute kittens, incidentally.

Exactly what about me do you find "immature", per se?

my love for shiny things? I think you're confusing silliness and insanity for immaturity.

Undecided., sick and tired of the word banana being used as a 'random' thing, and the choice of the name Mathew. There are way too many Matthews, Mathews and Mat/t's in the world.
Application was a bit too short as well, and anyway, you don't really want to be here, this place is dead :p You're the first app since the very start of November.
However, your favourite colour is green and you don't follow politics either. And strongbad rocks. As does DDR. The way you wrote was smooth as well, and you remind me a lot of some of my friends, soooo, I don't know.

Hmmm...

The "banana" thing comes from the whole "Rejected" video file, with the "my spoon is too big!" and, "Tuesday is coming, did you bring your coat?"

Don't know if you're heard of it? I think its the same guy who draws those new poptarts commercials...but i could be wrong.

I think I've seen it, but everyone is using the words banana, chicken and llama as 'random' words and now they just get on my nerves. The use of llama comes from that disney movie and chickens...heck I don't even want to know :p

And poptart commercials? Must be an american thing. *shrugs*

haha...well if I really wanted to be random I would have said something like "It is important to know that in order to toast your fish to crusty perfection, it must be laid on lightbulbs for approximately half an eon, but be sure to rotate it 1/8 of a turn every seventh tuesday in April. Your fish will be glad."

Regarding the "acts 14" thing, I can honestly say I acted more "mature" whe I was 14 than I do now. I've learned not to take myself so seriously, life's too short. And I'm eccentric, what can I say.

From Google eidna January 13 2006, 04:51:55 UTC
Definitions of eccentric on the Web:

a person with an unusual or odd personality
bizarre: conspicuously or grossly unconventional or unusual; "restaurants of bizarre design--one like a hat, another like a rabbit"; "famed for his eccentric spelling"; "a freakish combination of styles"; "his off-the-wall antics"; "the outlandish clothes of teenagers"; "outre and affected stage antics"
character: a person of a specified kind (usually with many eccentricities); "a real character"; "a strange character"; "a friendly eccentric"; "the capable type"; "a mental case"

So yes, "darling", I am. I'm not asking you to agree.
