Abby woke up and instantly regretted it. Her hand fucking killed. She muttered a few obscenities before getting out of bed. It was the next morning. She saw a few pills on her night stand so she swallowed them quickly hopping they’d numb the pain in her hand. She remembered hitting the wall and the hospital. She felt kind a bad that she broke the wall. She felt pretty stupid about it all to. She turned on her music and The 69 Eyes play. She blared it so she could hear it in the shower. She took a quick shower trying not to get hr hand wet. It took and hour and a half to shower. She got out pissed off and got dressed in-

It took her about 20 minutes to zip her jeans and button them. Whatever was on her night stand worked to make her hand stop throbbing. She figured they were pain killers. She headed downstairs and saw Dico, Novak, Bam, and Ville all staring at the TV. She looked up to see a porno. She rolled her eyes and walked over to them. All the seats were taken. Bam watched her near closer and figured she’d sit on Novak’s lap. When she passed Novak he figured she’d sit in Ville’s when she crawled on his and rested her head on the crock of his neck he nearly died.

“Daddy my hand hurts.” she whined. Everyone turned looking at them with amazement. Bam was speech less. It took him a second before he could actually reply.

“Did you take the pills on the night stand?” he questioned. She nodded a bit. “Did they help any?” she nodded again. “Do you want to talk about why you hit the wall?” he asked her. She nodded again. Bam waited for a second and then heard a sob. He felt his shirt collar damp and picked up the girl. He carried her out of the room and put her on his bed holding her still.

“I don’t like to be alone. I got mad because I felt as if you had abandoned me.” she told him wiping some tears off her face. Bam brushed a strand on hair out of her face.

“you know I wouldn’t leave you. We just went to the movies.” he explained to her. She sniffled.

“I tried calling you and no one answered and I was so afraid.” she explained fresh tears coming forth. Bam wiped these away.

“I’m so sorry, baby girl, I should have left a note. I’m sorry.” he hugged her and she hugged him back.

“It’s okay. I shouldn’t have over reached so badly Sorry about the hole in the wall.” she said grimacing. Bam chuckled.

“It’s fine.” His look turned serious. “I do want to talk about something with you.” Abby gulped a little afraid of what it was going to be. She scooted off his lap and nodded signaling for him to continue. “Ville said something about you smoking pot.” Abby nodded. “Do you still smoke?” he asked. She rolled her eyes and let out an annoyed sigh at the topic.

“Well first off I didn’t smoke pot weekly. The most I ever smoked was two days in a row but that was a different situation. I don’t smoke pot. I barely did it. I only smoked about a dozen times.” she explained to him.

“Oh well how often do you drink?” he asked. She readjusted her sitting position to an “Indian” position before speaking again.

“I drink to forget. Yeah I know it’s bad it’s just what I do. Why do you think I drank when I got here? My mom’s dieing of AIDS. I don’t want to remember that but I still do that’s why I drink myself into a stupor that I cant remember what’s going on. It makes me feel better. And well we’re on this topic I smoke. I’m not stopping that. It keeps me sane so screw. The reason I hit the wall is because I haven’t been smoking so it’s a release of anger and everything else.” she explained to him. Bam nodded.

“Wow, have you talked to your mom?” he asked. She shook her head no. “Why don’t you call her.” she nodded and gave him a hug before running out of the room. Bam smiled. He actually had a conversation with his daughter.
Abby dialed the familiar number to her house and jumped up in the kitchen counter. The phone rang but no one picked up. She sighed and dialed her mom’s cell number.

“hello?” a man said. Abby knew it was Oslo, her mom’s friend. He was like her Abby hated him.

“Hey Oslo, where’s my mom?” she asked.

“Abigail, you need to come home.” Abby raised an eyebrow.

“Why?” she asked.

“You’re mom’s dieing.”

“I know she has AIDs.” Abby said.

“No Abby her time it’s up.” Abby shook her head not believing him.

“But the doctor said a few months!” she cried out.

“Abby, get here.” Oslo hung up. Abby fell to the floor sobs taking over her body. She pulled herself together and ran to get bam.

“Abby what’s wrong?” he asked noticing her red puffy eyes.

“I- we need to go to Finland.” she said. Bam raised an eyebrow.

“Why?” bam asked.

“She’s…she’s in the hospital…she’s going to die.” Abby sobbed.

“Fuck.” Bam muttered. He went to hug Abby but she pushed him off.

“No, we need to go NOW.” she yelled.

“Let me just-”

“NOW!” she screamed louder. Bam grabbed the keys to the Hummer.

“GET YOUR ASSES DOWN HERE WE’RE LEAVING!” Bam yelled. Everyone was down the stairs.

“Where are we going?” Ville asked walking into the foyer.

“Finland.” bam said. Abby had her arms around herself and was muttering stuff with her eyes wide open. She appeared to be crazy.

“Abby are you okay?” Novak asked. She stayed silent. Novak had a feeling she didn’t want to be touched.

“let’s go.” Bam said leading the way out to the Hummer. Abby hopped in the front seat and looked out the window. Everyone hopped in and was packed in. bam sped off on his way to the airport he called April telling her what was going on. In everyone’s rush they had forgot to grab Abby’s painkillers so her hand was killing worse then her heart.
