Dear Melissa,

You don't read WIP's.  This is for a very good reason.  They only lead to heartache.  Unfinished stories that leave you hanging, authors that abandon stories, it all sucks.

Please to be remembering this, it never works out.  Don't get sucked in.  It is just going to end badly.

I can't keep with this rule. Sometimes it's just too hard to find stories that are complete. Plus I normally don't get that disappointed, as the only way I remember which fics I'm reading is through author updates or story reminders.

I get SO angry when i start reading something without realizing its a WIP, and then see that it hasn't been updated in like a year. SO Sad. *huggles*
