In that situation, I probably would try to buy a mini-fridge and put it in my room when I could afford it. That way, I don't have a money drain of people eating my stuff.

I am getting one for Christmas and then after I move out, my brother is taking it to college so that works out.

But until then I've decided to deduct the amount of food from the total I pay for my share of the utilities. Granted it might be late to teach the children some basic concepts of respect but I've had enough.
