[Unsteady, shaky handwriting]

[Very, very large block letters (think size 10 font on LJ)]

Police Chief Gant, Sir?

Did you make it back to your room okay, Sir? I did, and I don't see you around anywhere, Sir!

[Much smaller block letters, riddled with many hesitation marks]

Maybe I really was dreaming things like the nurse said...

[He's looked over these responses. Oh, god, Meekins...]

Hope you don't mind my late response, Mike. I'm perfectly peachy! Good to see you're just as energetic as ever.

And believe me, it was no dream. Hope you enjoyed last night's second dinner. I'll be expecting your co-operation in future missions as well.

[Overly excited gibberish covers the first half of the page before it gives way to something more legible (but not by very much)]

Police Chief Gant! Sir! I'm so very glad that you're okay, Sir!

I can't thank you enough for the previous night, Sir! I may have forgotten to mention that they put me on notice for the whole day today, so they won't even let me eat the pink stuff today, Sir.

I am ready to take your orders for the following mission, Sir! Will there be one today, Sir? Or may I have your leave for accepting an Arts and Crafts assignment, Sir?

Slow down there, Mike. No need to waste more ink.

[Just imagine the facepalming here.] They'll probably learn with time. You should try to learn from this experience too.

'Atta boy! For now you may do as you will. If I come up with anything new, I'll be sure to let you know.

Thi Ta Thank you, Sir! I'll try to be more careful in my writing and in my conduct, Sir! This has been quite a learning experience so far, Sir!

Again, thank you, Police Chef Chief! I will eagerly await your orders tomorrow, Sir!
