Detective,I assume that you are well. I need your assistance in the near future if at all possible. My last attempt at corresponding with you didn't go as well as planned, but I have some faith that this note will ( Read more... )

You'd be surprised how many might recognize your handwriting there, Little Worthy.

[It goes unsigned, but is in his usual blocky handwriting.]

[Oh god, Edgeworth doesn't want to reply to this.

...but it's Edgeworth, so he eventually does.]

I think that I can safely return the sentiment, "Chief".

Oh, I have no need to hide something like that now. A little bird made it difficult to keep a low profile. Nowadays I don't much worry about it.

Hope your stays hasn't been too tumultuous so far. It can take time to adjust.

Perish the thought. I wouldn't want you worrying yourself over my well-being.

Not want me to worry? Oh, Worthy! Why ever would I not worry about a fellow law enforcer in this dismal place! I thought you'd feel better knowing I had your back!

Oh, I believe that I can manage myself just fine. I realize that you do have a great deal of experience with being imprisoned, but I don't think that your level of expertise on the matter will assist me at this time.

Watch out there Edgeworth! He's better armed than you at the moment~ |D gargantuanlaugh July 2 2011, 17:13:29 UTC
Not as much experience with it as you might think. But enough to know how to survive in a place like this. Sad to hear you don't care for a bit of a leg-up on this place. Just know I'm always here if you need help with anything.

How rude. I am a very charitable person! [You just have to be the kind of person he'd want to be charitable towards.]

It's pretty funny that you say you're a "law enforcer" when we are the ones who rightfully put you behind bars - I don't think "law enforcers" are called that when they're criminals.

Oh, details. No need to get huffy about the past, Wrighto. There's not enough time in the day to worry about something like that when there are bigger fish to fry.

Come now, Damon. We all used to get along so nicely, didn't we?

I'd hate to see that break down again.

Hey now! I wasn't the one who started this! I want us all to co-operate here! Don't you think that would be best too?

You can't really be saying you expected him to welcome you with open arms.

He doesn't trust me; I'm afraid asking him to trust you might be a bit of a stretch.

I can't say I didn't expect some resistance. I just expected that priorities would--well, not be different as much as rearranged, to match the current situation.

Well, that is incredibly silly of him but I suppose only more experiences here might encourage him to change his mind.

You might want to try the niceties first, next time. If there is a next time.

I haven't asked him to. We don't deserve it. Or do you really think you can justify what we've done?
