The food fight and the man who'd started it had been amusing, especially after it had started to escalate and full-blown fights had broken out. It was interesting, it was fun, and best of all, Izaya had enjoyed it while taking absolutely no part in it. Maybe it would have been even better if he'd played a role in spurring the initial action, but the point remained that he hadn't been involved. His utter lack of participation in any capacity should have meant an utter lack of repercussions, as well.
But no... they had to go and gas the entire cafeteria. The minutes that followed hadn't been one of Izaya's finer moments, but there was some comfort (no matter how small) that no one from Ikebukuro had been nearby to see him in such a pitiful state-especially Shizuo.
