Night 54: Basement - Grand Ballroom

Indy descended the stairs cautiously, listening for any sound other than the usual fountain noises. He didn't catch any. This time, though, he did grab the nearest candle from the wall as they entered the room. As far as illumination went, it wasn't much, but it was better than stumbling around in the dark.
He thought back to Dent's bulletin board note from earlier and gestured at the door they'd gotten stuck at last night. "So you're supposed to need three people for this one, is that it?" The apparently arbitrary limit still grated on him. He took a few steps closer to inspect the door again, trying to keep an eye out behind him as well. The prospect of making it through the night without being attacked was almost too good to be true.
